Happy Saturday everyone! Looking for a nice place to get dinner? Well how about some Dim Sum!

Hong Kong is well known for it’s delicious Dim Sum and it may be hard to pick a restaurant to go to when there are so many to choose from. I absolutely love Dim Sum and would like to share with you two new places I went to recently!

1. Paradise Dynasty

(Open from 11:30-22:30 mon-sun)

If you go here, ordering the rainbow xiao long bao is a MUST! There is a total of 8, all colored by natural ingredients. The flavors consist of cheese, szechuan, garlic, ginseng, crab roe, black truffle, foie gras, and original! My personal favorite was the black truffle.

Here are some other dishes we ordered!

The restaurant itself was pretty big so we did not have to wait long before getting seated at our table. The staff here were very attentive and polite as well. There is also a water display along beside the tables with cute, floating  lotus flower lights which were fun to look at!

#2 San Xi Lou

(Open from 11:00-23:00)

Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year is San Xi Lou, a very popular Sichuan restaurant in Hong Kong. They are most famous for their Sichuan spicy hot pot, but they provide a wide variety of Dim Sum for lunch! We had the chicken and vegetable dumpling, shrimp dumpling with bamboo shoot, xiao long baos, baked BBQ pork buns which I highly recommend, and of course, glutinous rice dumplings for dessert!

The interior of this restaurant was lavishly decorated and was a pleasure to view the art work displayed throughout the place. If you’ve already been to all the local restaurants and you’re looking for some high-quality, well presented Dim Sum, this is the place to go!

Hope the pictures were convincing enough to make you want to visit these restaurants!

Until next time,

Terra
