Hello everyone! This is Terra.

Guess what!? It’s Christmas month!

The time of year that everyone loves is finally here!!

Except it’s still warm in Hong Kong.. it doesn’t feel like winter at all! You’ll see people wearing t-shirts in the streets, air conditioning in stores is still on full blast, and of course, you won’t be seeing a single snow flake here.

So how are you supposed to feel like the holidays are here? Well here are a few places you can visit!

1. Victoria Harbour
One of Hong Kong’s most famous tourist spots to see the beautiful panoramic night view! If you look closely, you’ll see some of the buildings display Christmas illuminations!

2. 1881 Heritage
This place used to be a Marine Police Headquarters Compound, but was turned into a tourist attraction in 2009. Now it is a major shopping landmark many tourists visit! They change the displays completely after a while so go check it out again next year!

3. Tsim Sha Tsui
Just walking down the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui you’ll see many cute holiday decorations!

You may even run into some Christmas Carolers in the subway station!

4. Element mall in Kowloon
Did you know that there are 5 ice skating rinks in Hong Kong? One of them is in the Element mall on the Kowloon side. The mall is divided into 5 sections resembling the Chinese elements; wood, earth, metal, water, and fire. The ice skating rink is located in the fire section.

They charge you by the time you are on the ice so make sure you have your Octopus card!

These are just a few suggestions of what you can do this time of year, but there is so much more so don’t hesitate to explore!

Merry Christmas everyone!! 🎄🎁
